  • Internship opportunity at Samattvam, The Yoga Institute's signature therapy program. This is a 12-week certified internship (1 hour per week) where patients seek holistic guidance for chronic health issues. This internship is available only to Yoga Therapy course graduates.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Students who have completed 500 or 900 Hours TTC from The Yoga Institute
  • Medical doctors who have completed any TTC (200 / 500 / 900 Hours) from The Yoga Institute
  • Students who have completed YCB Level 2 or Level 3
  • Students who have completed diploma or masters in Yoga
  • Students with a minimum of 500 Hours TTC from other institutions may apply by submitting certificates and course curriculum to info@theyogainstitute.org for review

Important Notes

  • All sessions will be conducted in English
  • For Hindi-speaking students, an additional doubt-clearing session will be held every Saturday from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm at no extra cost
  • Only 30% of the sessions will be conducted on-campus (for students opting for on-campus classes)
  • A student is required to have a minimum 80% attendance
  • Completing assignments as given (case study-presentations)
  • The Yoga Institute facilitates appearing for the YCB level 6 exam. To be eligible for this exam, you will need a total of minimum 800 hours of training, including your TTC certificates.
  • Fees once paid are non-refundable
  • All study material will be provided in physical (hard copy) format only
  • Study material can be collected from the Institute or delivered by courier at the student's expense

The Yoga Institute reserves the right to record live interactive yoga sessions for internal use and quality purposes. These recordings are securely stored and protected against misuse or unauthorized access. Students are strictly prohibited from recording live sessions. Yes, the course includes practical training where students learn and practice yoga asanas for specific conditions, along with a group case study presentation to be completed at the end of the course. For 300-hours course, we have care-seeker practicum, reflection, home sadhana and peer practise for practical implementation of the knowledge learnt in the class.
12-week certified internship (1 hr/week) at Samattvam, The Yoga Institute’s therapy program offers holistic guidance for chronic issues and is available only to Yoga Therapy graduates.
The exam includes 80 marks for theory and 20 marks for case studies.
Upon completion, you will receive a certificate from The Yoga Institute, wherein you will be a certified Yoga Therapist.

The course extensively covers 110+ diseases and their yogic management (Ahar, Vihar, Achar, Vichar), integrating theory with practical sessions where specific asanas are taught for various conditions. Exclusive practical modules focus on the respiratory system, PCOD, menopause, orthopaedic and cardiovascular health, along with core strengthening practices.
Certification is awarded to students who pass both theory and practical exams and maintain at least 80% attendance.
Yes, the institute offers a free bridge course for YCB Level 6 exam preparation; students only need to pay the exam fee to the YCB.

The key difference lies in the depth and hours of learning. The 150-hour course focuses on core theory and case study presentations, while the 300-hour course offers more extensive training, including self-paced learning, home sadhana, peer practice, care-seeker guidance, and deeper practical application.
Certain topics are aligned with the availability of the dates of the guest speakers and hence the dates for the on-campus sessions may vary and will be shared accordingly, at least a week in advance.
